The autowrap.co.uk FREE Vehicle Graphics Design process in more detail

1. Initial Enquiry & Consultation

Whether by phone, email or online form, we’ll ask for the following:

  • What type of vehicle do you have?
  • What’s the purpose of the wrap? (Branding, advertising, colour change, etc.)
  • Your design preferences,
  • Guideline budget
  • Logos (preferably in vector format)
  • Contact details
  • Any existing branding guidelines
  • Any design inspiration you may have

2. Free Initial Concept Design

With the information and budget guidance you’ve given in stage 1, our design team will supply the following FREE of charge.

  • Scaled visual on the vehicle template
  • Price based on supplied information
  • Option to proceed or go elsewhere, with no costs. 

This shows our commitment to each job, gives you a visual feel for the layout, branding impact, and style direction and our ability to supply what you require — all completely free of charge.

3. Deposit & Design Commitment

Once you’re happy with the overall direction, quoted costs and are ready to proceed, we’ll request a 50% deposit to begin the full design process and secure your slot in our production schedule.

  • This ensures we can allocate design time

  • We can purchase materials for your project.

  • Installation dates can be looked at

  • A timeframe for the process can be set.

4. Unlimited Design Revisions

After your deposit is received, and a design direction has been established, we’ll work closely with you to perfect the design.

  • Unlimited revisions – we’ll keep refining your wrap until you are 100% satisfied.

  • Clear communication throughout – feedback, adjustments, and approvals via email or in-person if needed

  • Final approval required before moving to production

  • Any additional costs – these will only be for images or logo’s that need to be purchased, and we will advise at all stages.

5. Production & Installation

Once the final design is approved:

  • We print and prepare your wrap using premium-grade vinyl (such as 3M or Avery Dennison)

  • Your wrap is professionally installed at our workshop by our experienced fitters, or onsite if you can supply suitable conditions.

  • We’ll arrange a convenient date and time for installation — turnaround typically takes 1–3 days depending on complexity

6. Completion & Final Payment

After the wrap is complete:

  • We’ll walk you around the finished vehicle to ensure you’re happy

  • The remaining 50% balance is payable on completion of each vehicle.

  • We’ll provide care instructions and support for maintaining your new graphics
